Sunday 3 May 2009
Routines aboard have begun with some taking watch, while others sleep, repair jobs being attended to, gear stowed away and meals being made.
Tonight’s feast of Burgandy beef, potatoes and red cabbage followed by pear slices and ice cream was a standard that will be hard to beat. Although my breakfast in bed of spicy French toast and tomatoes, followed by scrambled eggs and more cooked tomatoes was truly wonderful
Winds are very kind, seas are slight and we’re cruising along at about 6 knots
Fair wind, smooth sea and may it continue
