The Crew – Bob Brenac

brenac-photo1.jpg

Bob has a lifetime of sailing and from 1988 to 1995 was employed as Sailing Manager for the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA)

A retired engineer, Bob, has delivered yachts as far afield as France, Hawaii, New Zealand and Vanuatu and has gained the unqualified praise of boat owners for whom he has worked, including Sir James Hardy.

Bob places particular importance on crew compatibility at sea, with everyone working as a team.  Something he no doubt appreciates after completing 14 Sydney-Hobart races.

With 8 children, 17 grandchildren and an active, retired lifestyle, Bob reckons he’s overdue for a spell offshore.
